Where there's life, there's hope." So
goes the old saying. One can never predict how we will respond in a crisis, and
there's no certainty how God may step in to change the course of events. So,
given these two facts, we plow on in hope, defeating despair with our faith.
The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need...

I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me, freeing me
from all my fears... The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help.
He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the
brokenhearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:4, 17-18
When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me
renewed hope and cheer. Psalm 94:19
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares
about what happens to you. 1 Peter 5:7
When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I
will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown!
When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the
flames will not consume you .Isaiah 43
The Lord is the triumphant God of seemingly lost
causes and hopeless situations. Take a few minutes to list your worries,
doubts, fears, and troubles. Ask God to comfort you in each of these areas.
